The five shippable agents
1. Receipt and invoice extraction
Photo of a receipt, PDF supplier invoice, emailed bill, screenshot from a corporate card portal. Agent extracts vendor, date, amount, GST/HST/QST, line items if itemized, and matches against existing vendors in QuickBooks. Creates the expense or bill draft for bookkeeper review. Shipped in 21 to 30 days.
2. Transaction categorization (bank feed)
Incoming bank feed transactions get assigned to the correct GL account based on payee, amount, frequency, and the client's historical patterns. Self-improves as the bookkeeper accepts or corrects. Design target: 70 to 90 percent auto-categorization within 60 days, validated against your last 90 days of transactions before commit.
3. Reconciliation
Monthly bank and credit-card reconciliation. The agent matches transactions, flags discrepancies, drafts adjusting entries, and queues the reconciliation report for review. Designed to compress a 6-hour reconciliation to 30 to 60 minutes of bookkeeper review.
4. AR aging triage and collections
Watches the AR aging report. Drafts the right collection email for each overdue invoice based on customer history, payment patterns, and amount. Escalates the right ones to phone-call follow-up. Sends or queues for review per your policy.
5. Month-end close acceleration
Runs the close checklist, flags anomalies (variance from prior period, missing entries, stale accruals), drafts variance commentary, prepares the close package for review. Designed to compress a 7-day close to a 2-day close.

- Wk 13-15Operator-team handoff. Runbook, eval framework, integration credentials. Your team owns it.
What this is, specifically
- Implementation, not advisory. Back-half invoice ties to an agent posting expenses, categorizing transactions, and drafting collections in your live QB file.
- Founder-delivered. Derik is personally on every bookkeeping engagement.
- Quebec sales tax + bilingual support. QST, GST/HST/PST handled by province and SKU. Agent reads French receipts and supplier invoices.
- PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 aware. Customer and vendor PII handled per Canadian data residency rules; configurable.
- Vendor-neutral. We do not resell QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Dext, Plooto, or any platform. Right tool, integrated, documented.
- Operator-trained handoff. Your bookkeeper or controller owns the system after week 15.
For accounting firms (multi-client)
If you are an accounting firm running 10 to 100+ client books on QBO or QB Desktop, the engagement shape is different.
- Multi-tenant agent with per-client rule sets and learning. Each client's books stay isolated.
- Bookkeeper console for review queue across all clients. Highest-confidence transactions can auto-post; ambiguous ones queue for review.
- White-label option for client-facing receipt-capture portals.
- Pricing per scope: starts at CAD 60,000 for the platform + per-client config. Typical firm-side ROI inside 6 months.
