A free AI security review of your company’s AI accounts

Derik checks the settings that decide where your company’s data goes, and sends you a written list of fixes.

What gets checked

01The plan each person is onA personal or free plan may use what staff type to improve the vendor’s models, unless the person turns that setting off. Business plans keep company data out of training by default.
02Training and retentionWhether company data can train a model, and how long chats and files stay with the vendor.
03Connectors and appsWhich company systems each account can reach, such as email, shared drives or SharePoint, and who turned each connection on.
04SharingShared projects, custom GPTs and chat links: who can open what, inside and outside the company.
05Admin controlsSingle sign-on, roles, and who can add people or install apps.
06People who leaveWhat happens to an account, and the chats and files in the account, when someone leaves the company.
07Where data is storedThe country where each vendor stores your data on your plan, and what that means for the customer contracts you signed.
08Your AI policyWhether a written rule says what staff may paste into an AI tool, and who approves an exception.

What you get

A written list of findings. Each finding names the setting, what the setting does today and the change to make, in the order to fix them.

The list is yours to keep, and you can hand the list to whoever runs your IT. If the list points to a bigger job, such as a private setup or a company AI policy, we quote that separately, and you decide.

How the review works

  1. Fill in the form at the end of this page: which AI tools your team uses, on which plans, and roughly how many people use each one.
  2. Derik replies by email, usually within one business day, with any questions the form left open.
  3. If a setting needs a closer look, you share your admin screen on a video call. You never send a password, and nobody gets access to your accounts.
  4. You get the written list of fixes.

Who it’s for

The review is for owners and managers at manufacturers and distributors whose staff use ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot, on company accounts or on their own cards.

The review fits when:

  • A customer asks how you protect the drawings or data they send you.
  • Staff pay for AI tools themselves, and nobody knows which settings they chose.
  • You are about to connect an AI tool to email, shared drives or the ERP.

Questions people ask

Is the review really free?
Yes. The review and the written list cost nothing. If the list points to work you want done, such as a private setup or a company AI policy, we quote that separately, and you decide.
Do you need access to our accounts?
No. You answer a few questions, and if a setting needs a closer look, you show the setting on a video call. Never send a password to anyone, including us.
Which tools does the review cover?
ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot, on personal and business plans. Ask about any other AI tool your team uses.
Can you sign our confidentiality agreement first?
Yes. Mention the agreement in the form, and Derik signs it before you share anything.
Is this legal advice?
No. The review covers the settings and documents each vendor publishes. For what your contracts or privacy law require, ask your lawyer.
