Who it’s for

This offer is for the owner and the operations lead of a manufacturer or distributor in Canada or the United States. The offer fits a company that sells through dealers, distributors or a website, where the same product data feeds every channel.

Product information sits in old files, in several versions. Nobody knows which record is right, so the website and a spec sheet can show different dimensions for the same product.

Product information management (PIM) keeps one record for each product, with every detail your channels need, such as dimensions, materials, photos and documents. Every channel then reads from that record.

The module comes from product data work ThriveAI did for a distributor.

The offer fits when:

  • Product data lives in spreadsheets, old catalogs and the ERP, and the sources disagree.
  • Dealers or customers call to ask which specification is right.
  • A new product is slow to reach the website and the quotes.
  • Nobody can say which version of a product sheet is current.

Codes written by hand on bins belong in the product record too.

What you get

03Conflicts settled by a personWhere two sources disagree, the record shows both values, and a person on your team picks the correct value.
04Gaps listedEvery missing value, by product and by field, so your team knows what to fill.
05One source for every channelAn export for your website, your quotes and your spec sheets, all from the same records.
06The measure, before and afterThe share of complete, current records, measured at the start and again at the end of the six weeks.

How it runs

After the diagnostic, six weeks to verified records in use.

Week 1Every source of product data in your workspaceWe connect read-only to your ERP and gather the spreadsheets, catalogs, spec sheets and supplier files. With you, we list the fields each channel needs and measure the share of complete, current records.
Weeks 2 and 3One draft record per product, with every value tracedWe merge the sources into one record for each product and link every value to the source file. Values that disagree go on a list.
Weeks 4 and 5Conflicts settled and gaps filled by your teamYour team settles each conflict and fills the gaps, one product family at a time. We check each record against the sources again.
Week 6Verified records feeding your channelsWe set up the exports your website, quotes and spec sheets read, and measure the share of complete, current records again. We hand over and decide with you what comes next.

The first stage takes six weeks. The price is set after the diagnostic and stays the same however many days the work takes. The module runs on your own workspace and keeps running after week 6. A monthly plan covers improvements and support.

What changes

Every product has one record, checked against every source. When a dimension or a material changes, your team changes the record once, and every channel reads the new value.

The measure is the share of product records that are complete and current, before and after. The number shows how much of the catalog your channels can trust.

Quotes and orders start from the right specification, so fewer come back for a correction, and cash comes in sooner.

After the first stage

The verified records keep running on your workspace after the first stage, and every module you add reads the same records.

Questions people ask

What is PIM software?
PIM stands for product information management. PIM software keeps one record for each product and sends the same data to every channel, such as the website, catalogs, quotes and dealers.
What does it cost?
The price of the first stage is set after the diagnostic and stays the same however many days the work takes. ThriveAI does not publish prices.
Who decides which value is right?
A person on your team. Where two sources disagree, the record shows both values and their sources, and nothing changes until that person picks a value.
Does it replace our ERP?
No. The ERP stays the system of record for prices, stock and orders. The product records add what the ERP does not hold, such as descriptions, dimensions and documents.
Where does our data go?
Your company has a copy of the data reserved for your team. ThriveAI hosts that copy, or you host the copy on your own servers. The AI assistant in the tool uses only models with zero data retention (ZDR), which means the provider does not keep the requests. The AI used to build the tool does not train on your data.
Who owns the code?
The code belongs to ThriveAI. Your company uses the code under a licence with no fee. Code written for your company alone can be transferred to your company by agreement. A monthly plan covers improvements and support.
